Team Toes Up fishes out of a 2007 23T Contender.  It has white sides, light grey bottom, and a black boot stripe.  The 24.5 degree deadrise offers a smooth, stable ride. There's plenty of below deck storage and a huge fish box up front.  It rides on a Magic Tilt trailer.

Also installed is a Command Center Seating leaning post/livewell for added live bait capacity.  This allows us to have fresh bait all day.

The Toes Up Contender is powered by twin Yamaha F150 four strokes.  The twin F150's provide great hole shot and strong mid-range torque.  This boat is capable of running 50-51 mph with a tournament load.  At a cruise of 40 mph with the motors trimmed, we are recording economy of 2.0-2.1 mpg.  We are very pleased with the performance of these motors and the comfort of the boat.
We rely exclusively on Shimano reels to get the job done.  Our king fishing reels consist of the Shimano Trinidad 20 spooled with 20 lb. test Jinkai monofilament line.
Why do we use Star Rods? Because they are tough!!  We use Star Custom Rods that are 7' long and are rated for 15 - 30 lbs.  These super tough rods are also super sensitive which allows our live bait to be able to swim and perform freely.

We rely on Redfish One Hooks for not only tournament fishing, but for all our fishing needs.  Each hook is custom made and is of the highest quality.  Their strength and sharpness are something we have come to rely on.
